At The Stingerz JFC, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our top priority.

We are committed to providing a safe, positive and enjoyable football environment for all players across the club. We expect all coaches, volunteers, parents/guardians and players to help us maintain high standards of behaviour, respect and care.

  • Take concerns seriously and respond appropriately
  • Follow club safeguarding procedures and best-practice guidance

Reporting a concern

If you have any concern about a child’s welfare, safety, behaviour, or anything that does not feel right, please speak to us as soon as possible.

Concerns can be raised by parents/guardians, players, coaches, volunteers or visitors. All concerns will be treated seriously and handled appropriately.

Behaviour and respect

We expect everyone involved with The Stingerz JFC to support a positive club culture. This includes:

  • Respecting coaches, players, parents/guardians, opponents and referees
  • Using appropriate language and behaviour at training and matches
  • Supporting children in a positive and encouraging way
  • Helping create an inclusive environment for all families

Photography and video

We recognise that photos and videos can be a positive way to celebrate football, but they must always be handled responsibly and in line with safeguarding standards.
